WVC awarded three 职业生涯 Launch equipment grants

皇冠8868会员登录 Valley College was awarded over $700,000 in 职业生涯 Launch equipment grants for three of its six 职业生涯 Launch endorsed programs: drafting, industrial electronics, and environmental systems and refrigeration technology.  

The funds will be used to purchase equipment for each of the three programs to support 学生的学习. Industrial electronics will purchase six-axis industrial robots with vision systems and PLC-controlled tabletop mechatronic stations for students to learn how to program and operate real-world mechatronic systems. A矩阵测量 drone and Leica ScanStation will enhance students' hands-on experience in the drafting certificate program, and portable Building Automation and Direct Digital Control training units will be purchased for environmental systems and refrigeration technology.  

WVC’s 职业生涯 Launch endorsement programs include automotive technology, drafting, environmental systems and refrigeration technology, machining technology, industrial technology-electronics, and the Bachelor of Applied Science-engineering technology.
